Spot The Ten: The Ray

Game rules

This game can be played with 2-8 players. You can offer this game in two different ways. Play to combine numbers to make ten or play to match the quantity and number. You receive the rays with only numbers and number with quantity. You also receive the dots with number + quantity or only quantity in dice. You can choose which version you want to use.

Variant 1: Make 10: Place about 10 or 20 dots spread out on the table with the white side up. Each player chooses a color ray. Each turn, you flip a dot. Can you make 10 together with this number and a number on your ray? For example: 5 and 5 is 10. If yes, you may place the dot on your ray. If not, flip the dot back and your turn ends. If you take a dot from the table, place a new one back until they are gone. Continue until one player has collected all the dots back on the ray and all quantities are covered.

Variant 2: Number & quantity match: Place the dots on the table (white side up). Each player chooses a color ray. Each turn, you flip a dot. Do you have the same number/quantity on your ray? If yes, you may place the dot on top. If not, flip the dot back and your turn ends. If you take a dot from the table, place a new one back until they are gone. Continue until one player has collected all the dots back on the ray and all quantities are covered.
