Sandwich Sprint

Game rules

This game can be played with 2-4 players. You can offer the game with combinations of 1, 2, 3, or 4 ingredients on the sandwich (white, multigrain, or whole wheat bread). Choose the number you want to play with. For example: 1. sandwich with chocolate spread, 2. lettuce with cheese, 3. bacon and mozzarella with egg, 4. herb cheese, salmon, and cucumbers with arugula. All sandwiches are spread out on the table. Make a stack of the combination cards and place them face down on the table. Each round, someone (or the teacher) flips over the top combination card. (Or let them grab a card from a feeling bag or lunchbox). Everyone quickly looks for the sandwich with the correct combination of ingredients on it. Do you see the right sandwich? Quickly sprint with that hand and place your hand on the sandwich! (Or play with a pointer stick). If your hand is the first on the correct sandwich, you may keep it and the corresponding combination card. Continue until all sandwiches are gone. Now count the sandwiches; who has collected the most? Who was the fastest sandwich sprinter? That is the winner of this game. You are all set for the new school year.

TIP

Instead of slapping with your hands, you can also use pointer sticks.
