Pete's Move

This game can be played with 2-4. The playing cards are distributed among the players. Place them in a pile in front of you with the back (title) facing up. Place a buzzer (or bell) in the center of the table. Each round, a player takes turns revealing the top Pete card from your own pile, make sure everyone sees this card at the same time! If your sooty or black pete matches exactly with that of another player, hit the buzzer as quickly as possible! If there are more hands on the buzzer button, the bottom hand counts. If you are the first, you can put all your open cards under the buzzer or a separate discard pile. Try to get rid of all your cards first. If you hit the buzzer incorrectly, all face-up Piet cards are yours. Add them all to the bottom of your pile. So take a good look before you do a MOVE! There are both sooty and black pete in various color combos, pay attention because sometimes the colors are reversed. If you wish to play without Zwarte Piet, you can leave these cards out of the game.
