Chatter Talk Cards

These cards are ideal for getting to know each other better and starting an individual or group conversation. Play as a group or duo game. Or you can offer this in class as an icebreaker to get to know the preschoolers. You can use these cards in many different ways, here are some examples:

VARIANT 1: Per 2 in duo or group. Choose 10 chat cards each with questions you want to ask the other person. Each person takes turns placing a card face up on the table and asking the question. This way you start chatting together about fun topics on the chat cards.

VARIANT 2: Per 2 in duo or group. Make an upside-down deck of chatter cards and each take turns drawing 1 from the deck. Ask this question to a friend of your choice from the group.

VARIANT 3: Classroom in group. Place all the cards you wish to use face down on the ground. Each child takes turns choosing a card. This toddler can choose a friend in the circle to ask the question.

VARIANT 4: Classroom in group. Everyone draws 1 chat card from the teacher's hand. Walk around each other to the music, when it stops you stand next to the closest person and show each other your card. Ask your question to each other and start chatting until the music starts again. Then we'll do this again.
