Honey Pot Letter Game

This file is currently only available in Dutch.

This game can be played with 2-4 in 2 different ways. Or you play with the honey pots with letters on them to practice the initial sound of letters in words. Or you play with the syllable number of cards to practice word pieces.

VARIANT 1: Place the honey jars with the necessary letters upside down on the table, so that you see the jar without the letter on the label. Each player receives a stack of square cards. Place a bell in the center of the table. Each player takes turns turning over 1 honey pot, look at the letter. How does this letter sound? All players now search their top card for a word where they hear the same letter at the front. Do you have a word on your card, quickly press the bell! If you are the fastest, you may turn your card into a discard pile. Turn the honey pot back over. If you don't have a word with this letter, you can't do anything this turn. Whoever gets rid of all 4 cards first is the winner!

VARIANT 2: Make an upside-down pile of the counting cards. Each player has 4 square cards in a pile in front of him. Turn over 1 counting card each in turn. Everyone look at your map. Do you have a word in which you hear the same number of pieces? Chop them up and listen carefully. If so, quickly ring the bell! The first player to discard all cards is the winner!
