Feeling meter
Game rules
Cut out the two meter strips and attach them vertically to each other. You can hang this meter in the classroom throughout the school year. Have the toddlers indicate on the meter how they feel at that moment every day, sporadically or during a conflict! That way you can talk about it if necessary. On the meter they can associate their feeling with an animal that matches this, for example: calm and cool like a frog, in love like a butterfly or furious like a lion! You can use clothespins with their symbol or name on them to attach to the meter. You will also receive the sensory meter in separate cards and as a wheel. For example, you can indicate how you feel in class with the arrow on the wheel or by hanging your symbol, photo or name card next to the correct feeling card.
These cards can be nicely combined with our weather, daily rhythm, seasons, task board, months, week and corner range calendars.
