Game rules
It game is available separately as versions 1.0 or 2.0, but also as a set! Only when you purchase the set will you also receive the extra counting cards and fun coloring picture.
VERSION 1.0: This game can be played with 2-4. Each player takes a hedgehog prick and a color combination of cards. The oldest player may choose the number of the round. All players take the card of their color with the chosen number for the hedgehog spikes. Each person takes turns grabbing a clothespin from the bag. Look carefully at the map, does your hedgehog need this color of spine? If so, squeeze the clothespin into the right place. (Differentiation) You can add a die, then they can roll the dice and maybe take more than 1 of that color (if necessary). If you don't need this color from the bag, put them back and your turn is over. Be the first to try to give your hedgehog all its correct colored spines as shown on your example card to win!
VERSION 2.0: This game can be played with 2-5. Each player takes a hedgehog prick and a number of cards of a color. The oldest player may choose the number of the round. All players take the card of their color with the chosen number for the hedgehog spikes. Each player takes turns rolling the dice and takes that number of clothes pegs. Count carefully, does your hedgehog need this number of spines? If so, squeeze the clothespin on the hedgehog. (Differentiation) You can add a +/- die, then they may have to remove or add spines. If you do not need this number (e.g. too much), you cannot do anything and your turn is passed. Be the first to try to give your hedgehog all its spines back as shown on your example number card to win! TIP: You can also work with a die that only has 1,2,3 in numbers.
