Duo Nutpickers

This game can be played with 2-4. All squirrel duos on a tree trunk are spread across the table. Make a stack of the duo cards and place them face down on the table. Each round someone turns over the top duo card. (Or let them grab a card from a tactile bag). Everyone together quickly look for the right squirrel color duo on the tree trunks. They are looking for acorn nuts in the forest together. Do you see the matching duo of nut pickers? Quickly point to it and place your hand on it! (Or place a pointing finger stick on it). If your hand is on the correct squirrel duo first, you can keep that duo tree trunk card. Keep them on the side with you. The duo card that has expired is also temporarily removed from the deck. Continue this until all squirrel duos have been found. Now count the tree trunk cards, who has found the most squirrel duos? Who was the fastest nut picker? That's the winner of this game. Your squirrels will have a full belly during hibernation and there won't be just the two of them.

TIP: Instead of hitting with your hands, you can also use an index finger, stick, swatter or suction cup sticks to indicate quickly.
