Dice Game: The Easter Basket

This game can be played with 2-8 players. You can offer this file in 2 variants. This way, you can differentiate between the youngest and oldest preschoolers. Variant 1 is a race card to complete the Easter basket puzzle up to 3 times. Variant 2 is a race card to complete the puzzle up to 6 times. Each player chooses a color of Easter basket and takes the puzzle pieces, the grid board, and the race card. Each player gets a die and a colored pawn. Roll the die in turn with your die. See which puzzle piece from the Easter basket you can take and place it in the correct spot on your grid board. If you have already rolled this, unfortunately, better luck next turn. Continue until you have completely rolled the Easter basket puzzle. Then your pawn can move up one circle on your race card. The first time, you place your pawn on the first circle. Remove everything and start again. If you have reached the child as the Easter bunny on the race card and you have completely rolled your puzzle (3 or 6 times), then you have won!

TIP

"You can also omit the race cards to simplify and shorten the game duration. You can also have all players roll the dice at the same time for racing up to 6 times each round. This way, the game progresses faster."
