The Bird Feeder Silo
Game rules
This game can be offered as an independent activity or as a guided game. These assignment cards to feed the garden birds in the feed silo contain 2 possible game variants.
Variant 1: To count. Grab a garden bird card from the tactile bag. Check your feed silo card to see if this bird is coming to eat? If so, place the bird card on your feeder. Count the number of balls, fingers or read the number, how many of this bird species do you have to collect? You can only grab 1 card each turn. Not the right bird? Or have you already had enough of this bird species, put the card back in the pocket. Who is the fastest to count and collect all the right garden birds in the feed silo?
Variant 2: Dice. Dice, count and look at the card. Which bird can you take? Place the correct bird on your feed silo. Continue until you have collected every bird on your card. (Up to 6 birds in the silo). (Differentiation) Make it more difficult by going up to 8 birds. Then the toddlers have to decide for themselves from which number they will collect the corresponding bird 2x. This will only work for 2 bird species until your silo is filled with 8 birds instead of 6.
