The Crown Jitters

This game can be played with 2-4. The children's cards with birthday crowns and on are distributed among the players. Place them in a pile in front of you with the back (balloons + title) facing up. Place a balloon (or crown, candle, etc..) in the center of the table. Each round, a crown card is first drawn from a pile or from a tactile bag. Open it clearly visible. Then each player takes turns turning over the top card of their own pile, making sure everyone sees these cards at the same time! If you have a child wearing the same birthday crown, reach for the balloon or object on the table as quickly as possible! Because there may be an opponent who also has the same card. If you are the first to grab the balloon, you get a point! (you turn your child with the crown card over as a separate point pile). If your card does not match, you cannot do anything or earn anything this round. Each round the birthday crown card goes back into the bag or pile. Continue until someone has used up all their child with crown cards.

TIP: You can also play this without using the separate crown cards. Then you make a stack with 1 card from each child with a crown. Each player takes turns turning over the top card and if 2 players have the same child with a crown (boy or girl doesn't matter) they try to be the first to grab the balloon or object!
