The Donut Box

This game can be offered as an independent activity or as a guided game. These task cards to fill the donut boxes with delicious donuts contain 3 variants. You decide which is easiest for your class/age group.

Variant 1: Topology. Look at the example card and collect the correct donuts in the right place in your donut box. (free choice or game form, grabbing donuts from a bag).

Variant 2: Counting. Count the number of scoops, fingers, or read the number. Take as many donuts of the correct color and place them in the donut box (free choice or game form by grabbing donuts from a bag).

Variant 3: Rolling Dice (only with donut boxes of 6). Roll the dice, count and look at the card. Which donut may you take? Place that donut in your donut box. Continue until you have collected all the donuts of each number. Or roll 6 dice at once and take the correct donut for each number. Each donut may only be in the box once.
