Color Match

Game rules

This game can be played with 2-10 players. Each player chooses a color card and takes all the discs with images in the same color into a separate container. Fill a tactile bag with the colored pencils. Each player takes turns grabbing one pencil from the bag. What color is the pencil? Is there a player with this color card? This player may, with eyes closed, take one disc from their container. What is depicted on it? Can you recognize the same shadow on your color card? Place the image over the matching shadow on the color card. Continue until a player has a full card and has made all the matches. That player is the winner of the game.

Tip

You can also leave out the colored pencils and put the discs with images in a tactile bag. Each player takes turns grabbing one from the bag and checks if the color matches the card and finds the matching shadow. If you do use the pencils, you can also use real children's pencils in a tactile bag.

The youngest preschoolers is our recommendation! Depending on your class group, you decide whether this bundle is feasible or not.
