Game rules
Wake up your body, because we are going to move wildly! This file can be offered as a movement activity in class or in groups as corner enrichment in the movement corner. Choose which animal movements you want to use. There are 40 different animals to choose from. Spin the animal wheel full of animals or pull an animal card from a pile. Or you can offer the large cards in a large die with insert sleeves. Look carefully, which animal is it? How does this animal move? Try to portray this animal and imitate its movements. For example: Make yourself tall like a giraffe, move sideways like a crab, tumble like a dolphin etc...
You can also offer these cards as a game. For example: each player takes turns drawing a card and depicting the animal. The other players guess which animal it could be. The person who guesses correctly gets to keep the card. The first to guess 5 or 6 cards is the winner!
